I love OK Go.

In case you haven't seen this yet, here is the video for OK Go's cover of The Muppet Show theme song.



They are a part of Muppets: The Green Album, a compilation of covers by many different artists like Andrew Bird and Weezer. You can listen to the album in its entirety on NPR. If you like it, you can purchase it digitally from iTunes or buy the CD at Starbucks.

I think that the only thing that could have made this even better, is if the proceeds from The Green Album went to children's education or PBS.

I also think it's pretty nifty that Disney decided to let everything drop today, my unbirthday. They're so kind, aren't they?

Apparently there's a fitness course in St. Charles in which you can train to be ready for the Zombie apocalypse.

"If you're ready for the zombie apocalypse, you're ready for anything."

If it weren't so far away, I'd probably actually try this out.

I saw these guys on Friday. I guess they were celebrating really early as the parade wasn't until Saturday.

Also, I'm keeping up with my 2010 365 picture project. Every now and again I don't feel motivated to go out and find something to capture, but I'm so glad that it makes me.

While I was walking around downtown this afternoon, I found this lovely creature...

Oh the lateness: Tomorrow night is the Bristol Gang Variety Show. It features performers from the Bristol Renaissance Faire and all proceeds go to the RESCU Foundation.

Where: The Gorton Center, 400 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL 60045 (Lake Forest Metra Stop is a few blocks north)
When: Tomorrow, Doors 7:15, Show 8:00
Who: Bristol's best and brightest
How much: $25 at the door

As per the norm, I'll be up in the booth flippin' the switches and twistin' the knobs. I'll also be working the sound and light boards.

So come on out and bring your friends. Bring your enemies. Bring your friends' enemies. Remember, all proceeds go to a very worthy cause.

And if last year is any indication of the show tomorrow night, be prepared to laugh your ass off.
